Daily Inspiration – Towards the Immeasurable

The short film Five Feet High and Rising was completed as a student project in NYC. The filmmakers saw many of their peers projects which they felt were measurable. This means the lighting, composition, framing and so on could be looked at with a fair amount of objectivity. During the shooting of this film however, the filmmakers wanted to explore the immeasurable. They wanted to explore story and emotion at the deepest levels possible. A strong emphasis is put on the actors in this 30 minute short film by filmmaker Peter Sollett. It should also be noted that the actors were given some room to improvise their lines. Below youll find the results of their efforts!
