4Q update: Friendship 12, Taft 6
August 26, 2011 – 5:06 pmFrom Colerain High School for the Taft-Friendship Collegiate Academy game in the Skyline Chili Crosstown Showdown:
Taft making a late run. Senior DeQuon Smith scored on a 5-yard run with 4:51 remaining. Mike Harris was stuffed just short of the goal line on the two-point conversion attempt.

Taft has been unable to gain much momentum. FCA has been double-teaming SEC prospect Dwayne Stanford all game. WR has one catch for 25 yards, and he had to outjump the double-team to do that.

QB Tim Brady connected with Antonio Huff for a 38-yard TD pass with 27 seconds left in the opening quarter. That capped an 8-play, 94-yard drive.
Taft just fumbled ensuing kickoff. Friendship has the ball first-down on Taft 11-yard line looking to add to lead.

FCA capped an impressive opening drive with Tim Bradys 8-yard TD pass to Albert Reid with 6:58 left in the first quarter.
This game features two of the top defensive linemen recruits in the nation DE Adolphus Washington of Taft and DT Eddie Goldman of FCA. Goldman is ranked as the No. 1 player in the nation at his position by Rivals.com.
