Jordan Hicks fractures foot, will miss spring
March 21, 2011 – 9:34 amUniversity of Texas linebacker Jordan Hicks (Lakota West), the top football recruit out of the state of Ohio last year, fractured his foot during practice and will miss the rest of the spring, according to the Dallas Morning News.
The report says that Hicks is expected to make a full recovery in time for preseason camp in August.
Hicks played in every game last season for the Longhorns as a freshman, contributing with 23 tackles and a sack.
Coming out of Lakota West, Hicks was ranked the No. 4 prospect in the country by ESPNU.
