Mason LB Josh Dooley verbally commits to Miami University
June 26, 2011 – 1:15 amMason linebacker Josh Dooley verbally committed to Miami University this morning, according to Mason coach Brian Castner.
Dooley, who is 6 feet and 208 pounds, also had offers that included Indiana, Air Force, Bowling Green, Ohio University, Kent State and Buffalo.
Castner said Dooley, who will be a senior this season, always felt comfortable with the Miami coaching staff and the campus. He said Miami was truly where his heart was the whole time.
I expect him to be one of our leaders of the defense and our team this upcoming season, Castner said.
..Hes a playmaker. (He is) definitely a kid who knows the game.
Dooley is the second area linebacker from the 2012 class to verbally commit to the RedHawks this week. St. Xavier linebacker Nathan Gerbus committed to Miami on Tuesday.
